Reason 281 Why I Love Being A Mom: Big Smiley Teddy Bears!

One great thing about being a parent is that you can go back to buying big stuffed animals! Apparently my hubby as a baby could only have bears with smiles on their faces, so when his mom saw this recently she stuffed it in a box and shipped it to afghanistan to him :o) and he brought it back... though i do not know if he brought it back for Zoey or for himself :oP Needless to say she has commandeered it and it is sitting in her room :o)

Reason 227 Why I Love Being A Mom: Baby Feet in Pool First Time!

Well this was Zoey's second time to the pool and we couldn't resist sticking her feet in the pool to see how she liked it. The look on her face in this picture pretty much describes her whole experience; very curious about it. She didn't get to play too long since doctors advise against sunscreen on babies under 6 months but she had a blast splashing in the bath tub when we got her home! I don't think she has ever been that excited to take a bath before!

Reason 187 Why I Love Being A Mom: Size 0 Baby Shoes

 

After a disastrous first experience with itty bitty baby shoes at my cousin's wedding I was apprehensive about putting her in shoes again. But we did buy these before she was born and they seemed like they'd stay on longer than 5 minutes :oP her little feet just looked so cute in them that I had to take a couple pictures :o) These are Robeez shoes and my mom and i discovered these at our second home (starbucks) when we saw a lady with her two children in them. They looked so adorably European. Maybe Zoey will let me dress up her like that unlike my refusal when mom tried with me :o)

Zoey has been very alert since she was born and her curiosity, like all babies, just grows every day. So maybe she isnt thinking too much about something at this particular moment except about how yummy her finger tastes but for the most part she has an eye on everything! Especially little kitties walking by her! So I better start watching what I do since she is so impressionable! <3

I do love Hatley's onesies and when I saw this one with a watermelon (my husband loves watermelons) I had to get it. Needless to say she looks beautiful in it and her smile just radiates! J'adore.

Reason 61 Why I Love Being A Mom: Ankle Biter

My husband's dad calls kids ankle biters, so when I found this Hatley onesie I had to get it (and it will work for a future boy too! :oP). Anyway she is my precious ankle biter and she's too cute to not photograph in every outfit I have for her :oP
